A.G. Cook announced on August 19, 2020 that his "second debut album 'Apple' will premiere on September 18, 2020. 'Apple' follows the electronic-pop producer and PC Music founders original full-length '7G' which released August 12, 2020. The album was announced alongside a full website to supplement the release, and showcasing both digital and physical copies of the album for pre-order. The first single "Oh Yeah" premiered on BBC Radio 1 on Clara Amfo's show at 8PM BST. The art direction for 'Apple' was coordinated with Timothy Luke.
