Aleksander grew up in Holmestrand, Norway. His first introduction to music was at the age of 4, when he started using a Yamaha electric organ. At the age of 10 he asked his mother for his own keyboard synthesizer, but due to financial problems he instead had to borrow his sister's old and faulty Casio keyboard, which could only play 2 notes simultaneously. It was at this point were he first found Trance Music and told his mother, "I want a computer, I want to make music."
Aleksander first started using the program 'eJay' to produce drum and bass music for a year before he found the program FastTracker, which he used to create music that was inspired by his favorite video games. Aleksander then discovered the program FL Studio and continued to work with electronic music.
He later started a black metal band called No Funeral, as guitarist, keyboardist, and singer, but soon decided to make his own metal music using his computer. He continued to experiment with house, trance, and metal music.
