“V” is the upcoming fifth studio album by American pop group Jonas Brothers. The brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin will release this new album this fall, Just three years after their split and after starting solo careers: Nick released his debut as “band” called Nick Jonas & the Administration that just went on to sell 150,000 copies in the U.S., a year later in 2011 Joe also released debut solo album entitled “Fastline“, another sales failure; and finally Kevin took the opportunity to marry his lifelong sweetheart Danielle and launch a documentary “Married to Jonas” and now has announced his upcoming fatherhood.
With this background and after breaking their record contract with Hollywood Records, the brothers return to the music scene under the guidance of Columbia Records and their own label Jonas. This new work comes after the release in 2009 of “Lines, Vines and Trying Times“. The brothers announced the name of the album in Chicago at their concert. They also performed new tracks: “What Do I Mean to You“, “Found” and “Wedding Bells“. The album is preceded by the lead single “Pom Poms” and the second official “First Time“.
