Redaction Artifacts will be East of the Wall’s first album since losing bassist Brett Bamberger to Revocation, but while the band’s public dong-showing quotient may instantly have dropped by 100% their music doesn’t seem to have suffered one bit. Ex-guitarist Chris Alfano is now handling bass duties, and honestly — no disrespect to Brett who is a MONSTER of a player — if I hadn’t already known that there’s a new bass player on this recording I’d never have guessed. Longtime guitarist Kevin Conway also left the band, but I feel like we’ll need to hear of the album to know how that’s effected the band. Redaction Artifacts comes out on October 29th via Translation Loss
