I have just been looking around this awesome site today and thought I would finally register and contribute. I love the points system as it is similar to what I used on a forum that I used to run, and it encourages people to create a more active site/community. One thing I had which I think may fit in well here is a forum where new members (or past members which hadn’t done so yet) are able to post an introduction post. They can introduce themselves and maybe tell others what music they like. Other members would then welcome them. A few points may also be earned form posting this thread.

You may hate the idea but I thought I would put it out there.
