Niki And The Dove announces debut release
My fellow Swedes, Niki and The Dove have announced their debut album release on Sub pop! The band consists of Malin Dahlström and Gustaf Karlöf and have already got heavy ready support for their first single, “DJ, Ease My Mind” which is included below.
It got some of the Lykke Li vibe to it but with a more electronica feel to it. Judging by the video below, lead singer Malin, has also adopted some of the Lykke Li dance moves as well. To be frank I’m unsure if I like this or not, or if I’m just drawn in by the Sub pop label. Only time will tell.
