sleepmakeswaves Love of Cartography

Coming off the back of a 20-date European tour, Sydney post-rockers sleepmakeswaves have announced a release date and national tour for their sophomore record Love of Cartography.

The album was recorded in Byron Bay with producer Nick DiDia (Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against The Machine) after fans helped to raise over $30,000 through a Pozible campaign.

The first taste of the album is the driving electro-rock epic Something Like Avalanches, which premiered on Triple J on Sunday night. The band have stated the track sums up “many of the new, exciting ideas (they’ve) explored on the new album.”
