A Day to Remember from Florida formed in 2003 and are being described as a metalcore/pop-punk/rock band. The bands current line-up include Jeremy McKinnon, Neil Westfall, Josh Woodard, Alex Shelnutt and Kevin Skaff. The band is set to release their new album "Common Courtesy" October the 8th.
An album which have seen a lot of delays. Common Courtesy was announced by the band with a countdown included. Once the countdown hit zero, first single "Violence (Enough Is Enough)" was released. This was back in December and since there's been a lot of speculation when the album actually will be released. On March 18th, Jeremy McKinnon, announced on Twitter that "Common Courtesy is officially tracked! Now, onward to mixing.". Still no official track list.
The band announced Friday night at a show in Michigan that the judge ruled that they could release their album October 8, without Victory. Here is the live video of that announcement.

Am I the only one who is blown away by this CD. Still have 6 minutes left of I remember and I can confidently say this is their best album. I’m amazed. I don’t know what else to say.

I love how they ended it. It’s a nice reminder of everything they’ve already gone through, not to mention this whole thing with Victory. It’s a great ending to something that they put their whole souls into.

Favorite Song? Mine is End of Me
that song kind of reminds me of Snuff- Slipknot! Lol. Good song though. I’d say best song is: City of Ocala
My favorite heavy song is Hammer, Nail. My favorite punk song is definitely I Remember. Definitely some of the best lyrics I’ve heard from them or any band.

The full artwork is on the digital booklet, it’s quite easy to select it and copy and paste on any program. The album is perfect btw, no doubt their best album so far. They’ve reached their absolute climax.

Just had my first run through of the entire album, including the whole 9-minutes of I Remember. LOVED it. their best one yet. My favorites are (besides all of them) Hammer/Nail, Right Back At It, City of Ocala, and I Remember.

Common Courtesy was everything I could’ve hope for… I know that sounds cheesy but the heavy songs were perfect and I wanted to hear their heavy stuff be a lot more technical and it was I loved it! The pop punk songs were amazing too! I loved how they mixed acoustic with pop punk in their songs with acoustic guitar. Overall this album is just too perfect after one listen. I loved the end of I Remember too <3 So cool!
Still haven’t gotten my download link but I’ve listened to every song at least once. This album is amazing. Everything I was expecting and more. And for those who didn’t remember, the deluxe physical version will have more songs ;)
I’m already all addicted to “I’m already gone”. Probably my fave of the album… <3
