In an interview with Nylon magazine Azealia announced that her debut album will drop in september. She said it will be about a girl trying to find 'it'.
Because of all the hype surrounding her, Banks has a lot to prove, but if her previous work is any indication, Broke With Expensive Taste will be, if nothing else, a new artist making her voice heard, and if she proves she can rise above the hype and deliver even a couple more tracks that match the levels of “212?, it’s pretty certain she’ll be around for a while.
Make sure to read our full album preview. Banks announced through her Twitter, that the album is set for February 12th. But... It's been delayed, yet again. No official date for the album as of now. On March 14, 2013, Azealia revealed via Twitter that there will be 13 tracks on the standard edition of Broke with Expensive Taste and 17 tracks on the deluxe edition. She also revealed that Pharrell will be featured on one of the tracks.

Azealia took to USTREAM today to chat with fans and update everyone on the status of her album. Here’s what she had to say:
“So I went and had a meeting with all of the wizards yesterday. And guess what? We have to wait even longer for ‘YUNG RAPUNXEL’. I went in and had the big label meeting and played all my songs and everybody is excited and everyone is happy. I just have to wait, because there’s just like major label processes and other things that happened that are just beyond my Twitter, and Sound Cloud and all kinds of other stuff like that. And you know, I guess it’s like my first real effort and it has to be done properly, you know what I mean. I wish I could explain what properly means, I don’t even know what properly means. They won’t tell me what it means. But I guess I’m not supposed to know. But, we’ll see what happens, it’ll be great and amazing. But just know that ‘YUNG RAPUNXEL’ is coming. Very very soon. Within the next month soon. So, we just have to wait.”
I didn’t watch the whole thing, so there may have been some other information within the 1 hour live stream that was given out, but I only watched the first few minutes to see what was up with the album, since it was supposed to be released today and it wasn’t. Pretty sure No Problems is a non-album track. Also, don’t listen to Azealia when she talks about releases on twitter, wait for press releases from Interscope. Anyways, IM FUCKING GIDDY WITH ANTICIPATION.

WHAT I THINK: This is definitely coming out early 2014. Azealia posted an unofficial tracklist on twitter that had 16 tracks. They are done recording it so now it needs to be polished and then it’s ready for release but that takes awhile. There will probably be another single released before the year is over though. She also said that it is coming out in January, but if we have learned anything from past releases with premature statements, it could come out as late as March. I know how the music business works, but these are all my personal observations and predictions, so don’t quote me. She didn’t leak it on the 15th. She has betrayed her fans. If she doesn’t realize that they are all she has left soon, she will end up with out an album. Its not just her label holding her back she is doing it to herself.
Is this ever gonna come out? lol i’ve lost nearly all my interest in Azealia, she’s been waiting far too long
