Scheduled for a March 26, 2013 release, Sevendust will be releasing their ninth album with original guitarist Clint Lowery who took an absence from 2003-2009. Clint has described the album as "...a basic Sevendust record", stating "There's nothing, like, too completely different than anything we've done before. It's got a darker vibe to it. We've got a good amount of the programming element in there. It's a lot of what we do. it's heavy and it's got its melodic element in it".

He has also mentioned if you put Home and Animosity together it would be similar to the new cd.

On January 22, Sevendust will release the first single from the album called "Decay."

I had a chance to hear the album and like i told Morgan on his twitter @moran7d it ripped my face off. I was blessed to friend him this past week and he is an amazing individual. By far the heaviest they have been and they keep getting better. It is an amazing collection…fire it up!

Would you say they still retained the melodic elements from Cold Day Memory?

They do heavy and melodic great but I feel like their melody is where they shine through alot of the time.

I heard the single ‘Decay’ – straight up if most of the album is the same caliber I will be happy as.. Decay – they’ve kept the Sevendust soul, funk metal feel but their sound has grown into something really stylish & natural, but it sounds unique too – honestly this track is exactly the direction I was hoping they would take..

Decay is definitely where I believe all the true Sevendust fans wanted them to go. I, for one, am extremely excited about this album. I happened to be one of the lucky 107 fans that got to listen to the album early in October. Let me tell you, if you love Decay as I do, then just wait until you hear the rest of this monster album. Decay is probably the least greatest song on the album and doesnt really compare to the rest. Clint describes this as putting Home and Animosity together. Funny because I described it that way myself before he ever mentioned that. Honestly, this album should be bought in every possible way. (Physical CD, Digital, etc.).

Sevendust is amazing seen them 12 times and don’t plan on stopping the growth of that number. Can’t wait for this CD. Its been far to long of a wait and much deserved. Morgan hands down best drummer alive. Ready for March 15th to see them in Nola

Im not in love with the single. I think Unraveling was 10x better. Im still hopeful their are going to be some classics on the cd.

On a side note, the guy who has all the black out the sun tracks on youtube but says “the sound is disabled click here” can suck it.

He disabled the comments and then likes all of his videos. Why do these losers do that crap.

Cant wait for the album need new fresh rock really bad.

Every day without a leak is another win for the band. Illegal downloads kill smaller bands like Sevendust! Just wait for the release and actually PURCHASE!!!

Looks like someone put up a legit leak cause it was taken down within 5mins of being up. Says censored as required by law. So my guess it will leak any day now.

Someone is on that like stink on sh*t!!! I’m pretty sure they have a team watching the online space waiting for these leaks to pop up. All the fake torrents I guarantee you have the real audio files but you have to crack that password which is not a simple task.

Most of the fake torrents have files in them, but they aren’t legit.. in most cases, they start showing up months before the disc even gets mastered. They’re trying to get you to complete offers for them, and you’ll never get a password that will actually get you the music files you’re looking for.

Talked to John Connolly and he said the album has leaked twice, but the band was able to squash the leak both times thus far. So that’s a good thing.
