According to a review from Saltyeggs.com: "t’s the record’s one overt nod to the band’s past doomy roots, but its placement as the last track on the album seems deliberate. To get there, you have to make it through the rest of the record, and digest the point — Torche is now more like the first 12 tracks, and very infrequently like the last. With the music of many of the band’s early peers now sounding a bit stale, that’s a welcome change."
