Britney Spears has announced her eight album, titled "Britney Jean". This, Katy Perry and Lady Gaga - Makes for three hyped album downloads set to be released this autumn.
It was first revealed that Spears was working on her eighth studio album in December 2012. will.i.am had been enlisted as its executive producer. The album will be released through RCA Records due to the disbandment of Jive Records. Spears also recorded the song "Ooh La La" for the soundtrack of The Smurfs 2 in early 2013. The song is produced by Dr. Luke, Ammo Cirkut, and is written by Luke, Bonnie McKee, J Kash, Lola Blanc, and Fransisca Hall.
On August 20, 2013, Spears re-launched her website with a countdown ending on September 17, 2013, teasing the release of the lead single "Work Bitch" from her forthcoming eighth studio album entitled Britney Jean. The track, written by Spears, will.i.am, Anthony Perston, Sebastian Ingrosso, Otto Jettman, and Ruth-Anne Cunningham, was originally to be premiered on September 16, 2013 and released to the iTunes Store on September 17, 2013. However, after a low-quality version of the song leaked online on September 15, 2013; the single's iTunes release was moved up to September 16, 2013. Adam Leber, the singer's manager, said it was "disheartening that one bad apple had to spoil our release for the entire fan community". That month, Spears was also confirmed to appear on Miley Cyrus' track "SMS (Bangerz)", taken from her fourth studio album Bangerz (2013). On September 17, 2013, Spears announced during an interview with Good Morning America that her eighth studio album is scheduled for release on December 3, 2013. Spears announced that the album would be called Britney Jean in an interview on Capital Radio on October 15, 2013.
"It's a personal album, and all my family, they always called me Britney Jean," Spears explained to 95-106 Capital FM. "It's like a term of endearment. I just wanted to share that with my fans."

COLLABORATION RUMORS:
-Britney confirmed that there is at least one collaboration, but so far has not confirmed who it is.
-Heaven Clark/@heavenhollywood tweeted the artists: Miley Cyrus, Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Wiz Khalifa. Saying that two of these people are on the new album. Fans have said that it’s highly unlikely that Miley will be on the new album, because they’ve already recorded SMS (Bangerz) together so recently.
-Wiz Khalifa a while back said that he laid down vocals for a Britney Spears song, but it’s unconfirmed if that song will make it on the record.
-Rihanna tweeted that she recorded vocals for “one of my faves”, not saying who it is, but many people are saying it’s Britney (note: they’ve recorded a remix for her song S&M before, and they are both fans of each other)
-Lady Gaga and Britney were seen leaving the same studio in LA just one week apart, but there’s no other word on that.

-will.i.am is executive producing the album, but he has confirmed that he has not produced any of the songs yet. Meaning he is overseeing the making of the album, contributing ideas, and deciding the direction of ideas, but he is not actually hands-on creating anything.
-Britney has written on many songs on this album. Two weeks before any actual work on the album, will.i.am and her took some time to just hang out and talk about what’s been going on with her life, he used this as a way for her to open up and make this album truly personal.
-Work Bitch will not be entirely indicative of what the album’s sound will be, but rather as just a reflection of Britney, and the foundation of what she represents.

The Tik Tik Boom leak was not Britney singing. That leak has been around for a while, it was a demo by the girl group GRL. Many people say that they recorded the demo for Britney to sing tho, since they share management and they worked together on the Smurfs 2 soundtrack and promos.
