Pantokrator is a Christian progressive death metal band from Luvehult, Sweden. They formed in 1996 and have released three full-length albums so far, as well as a number of EPs, demos and singles. Their first album, Blod, was released in 2003, their second album, Aurum, in 2007, and their latest album will be released in 2014. Their current lineup is comprised of Jonathan Jansson (backing vocals, guitars), Karl Walfridsson (vocals), Mattias Johansson (guitars), Rickard Gustafsson (drums), and Jonas Wallinder (bass). Incarnate, their new album, is said to combine the intensity of Aurum with the heritage of Blod, while still being something new. Incarnate releases on January 21st, 2014.
