At last, UK post-punk quartet Savages have shared details of their debut record. Silence Yourself will be released May 7 via Matador and frontwoman Jehnny Beth's Pop Noire label.
Silence Yourself follows the group's brutally austere debut single and 2012 live EP I Am Here, tracks from which were re-recorded for the LP in December 2012. The album opens with an excerpt from the 1977 John Cassavetes film, Opening Night. It was produced by Johnny Hostile and Rodaidh McDonald (the xx, Adele, How to Dress Well).

enjoying it!
Reported it as it’s only a matter of time before there is a torrent made. It’s available anyway!
alright!
shout out to you guys for repeating a leak when no one has ripped it yet.
reporting*
this album has not leaked but it is streaming. the leak will probably come tomorrow
Matt you are a total moron. You seriously reported it leaked because you think it’ll leak any day now? That’s honestly one of the stupidest things I’ve ever heard.
Album stream = leak
Plus, there was a torrent on what.cd about two hours after my report and 5 hours before your comment, so I don’t see the problem.
Hey, easy there tiger… A stream is in fact a leak, simply because we do allow transcodes to be reported. A leak is defined by the full album being available to the public ahead of official retail release.
And @alakritiz, more importantly – Take it easy with your choice of words.
Got excited when reported leaked, but it’s only a damn stream.
274 kbps vbr version now available on exystence
How exactly does a full album stream =/= a leak? Torrents aren’t everything
Been on what.cd for more than 24 hours as well
Is this any good?
