All of the songs but one are recorded on the Faroe Islands mostly with local Faroese musicians. "It's Not Funny Anymore" is arranged for orchestra by Van Dyke Parks and recorded in Holland with members of the Holland Baroque Society. I don't know how to categorise the music other than calling it "Story Music." It's not something you get on the first listen. It's about storytelling, accompaniment, monotony, life in the province, palindromes, Michala Petri, music genres, sociology, embarrassing silence and lots more. During this winter a "Story Music" interactive film will be released where the rest of the story will unfold. I am immensely proud of this album. The first release and tour is in Denmark Sept. 16th. Come October the album will be available in most territories. The band going on tour consists of 6 musicians: Two cellist - Unnur Jónsdóttir and Andreas Restorff, two guitarists - Benjamin Petersen and myself, two drummer/percussionists - Jan Rúni Poulsen and Derek Murphy.
