GOOD AND BAD NEWS: RELEASE DATE IS LATER THAN THIS SUMMER BUT IT WILL BE WORTH IT.

Last night I saw Veara in Douglassville, Ga and after they played, me and my friend saw Bryan (bassist) and asked to hear their new album. We got to listen to three tracks. Track 1 (the title track), track 4 and track 11. The album has 12 tracks and is a little heavier and sounds more full. I know thats not a great description but thats the best I can do. If you like What We Left Behind then you will like their next album I promise. And no, they didn’t sell out; they still have their unique style/sound, killer riffs and drums. It features vocals from The Wonder Years, and some screaming Silverstein. Although the album has been finished since summer of 2012, according to Bryan, the album will not be released until November of 2013. They didn’t say why the album wasn’t released last year but apparently why it is coming out so late this year is due to them not being present on Warped. They want to release the album and go on tour right after and according to them Warped is a detraction for smaller shows and they want as many people to be able to see them so they are waiting. Thats what I understand. I am absolutely stoked that I got to listen to the album so far before from the release. Incredible is an understatement for the songs I heard. I will be preordering this the first day I can.
