ince forming in 2007, Sydney hardcore band Hand Of Mercy have been impressing crowds across the world and sharing stages with some of the biggest names in their genre.

A string of strong independent releases and impressive local touring saw the band become the go-to choice to complement bigger bills. Shows with Parkway Drive, The Amity Affliction, August Burns Red and The Ghost Inside got the attention of Australian indie label UNFD who picked up the band for the release of their second album, 2012’s Last Lights.

Last Lights converted many fence sitters and also saw them tour with the likes of A Day To Remember, Comeback Kid, Emmure, Underoath and score an invitation to join metalcore stalwarts Bleeding Through on their last triumphant march through Europe and the UK.

Taking a break from recording the follow up to Last Lights, Hand Of Mercy returned to Europe for massive shows and festivals along side Emmure, Carnifex and fellow Australian’s IKTPQ and Northlane before coming home to complete album number three, Resolve, which will be released by UNFD on October 31. Just in time for the guys to go on a rampage across the country on their massive 18 date national tour. You have been warned.Hand Of Mercy have today released a teaser for their new record and can be viewed here: http://bit.ly/HOMtease.

In just over a year, Sydney’s Hellions have established themselves as one of the country’s freshest sounding heavy acts, drawing comparison to acts as diverse as Stray From The Path, Defeater, Rage Against The Machine and A Day To Remember. Their blend of aggressive, hardcore- influenced guitar work, punk rock melodicism, frenzied percussion and the uniqueness frontman, Dre Faivre, all combine to form a sound and style that the band can proudly call their own.

Melbourne five piece Void Of Vision have been gaining some huge ground over the last 6 months. Their debut single Life//Blood made its Short Fast Loud debut on Triple J in April and the tracks video has clocked up 10,000 views on YouTube. With their high energy and intense stage show they are going to win a stack of hearts and break plenty of bones on this tour.

With three of the most potent, razor sharp Australian bands on the one bill, Hand Of Mercy’s Resolve tour will leave fans across the country utterly spent and destroyed. Sapped of all energy but grinning from ear to ear.
