Andy Butler has brought back Hercules and Love Affair for another album to follow up 2011's Blue Songs. It's called The Feast of the Broken Heart, and it's out May 26 via Moshi Moshi. They've also shared the first taste of the album, "Do You Feel the Same?", featuring Belgian singer Gustaph.
The album also features vocals from John Grant, Rouge Mary, and Krystle Warren. It was co-produced by Ha-Ze Factory and Mark Pistel.
In a statement about the album, Butler said, “I wanted nasty basslines, stormy, bleary-eyed sounds, fiery, rough, tough and ragged old school house productions that sounded almost techno. I didn’t want polite, I wanted aggressive.” - Pitchfork
