Lurdez da Luz's second album differs from her previous works. The sound presented in "Gana Pelo Bang", influenced by the music produced in the ghettos of countries like Jamaica, England, India, Nigeria, Angola and South Africa as well as North American and Brazilian pop songs, gains ground performed alongside a professional band, as well as a more danceable character to the songs.

"'Gana Pelo Bang' refers to the cultural market, and even have a broader context of strongly wanting to firm an ideal, of internal personal transformation, but like this, in first instance, is about going up with tooth and nails to do what you love to do", said the rapper to Na Pegada da Periferia.

The album was mixed by Nick Graham-Smith and mastered by The Exchange, in London; the graphic project is from Rodrigo Silveira.
