The Pale Emperor****************
Lol whoops, will get fixed.
Still Gotta Fix Title
i miss smells like children manson but ill give this a shot…
who’s ready for more of the same
I have high hopes for this album, we will never get the classic antichrist superstar from back in the day but the fact that he always changes it up with every album shows how talented he really is. He has showed that he is human and has emotions so can’t make another album like he did when the media seen him as a “threat” to society. Only thing I can bitch about is that he needs to go all out live like he used to. Look as Alice cooper, he sure as hell isn’t young but can still go on stage and put on a hell of a show.
Leaked on youtube.
Not.
I’ve yet to find a legit leak on the above listed sites..
The reported leak is not working for me.
Retraction. I found a working one. So it is out there. Although this album is a great improvement over the last one, its nothing special. I like it but there is no wow factor at all. I am making that call only 6 songs in but im comfortable with that, the whole album seems to have the same feel to it.
Where did you find it?
it tells you you at the top of the page, its legit so enjoy man.
I tried those ones. Neither worked. Maybe I couldn’t find the right one on YouTube, and the other one.. I tried both options on the site itself and neither gave me a legit file.
Kingdom
The torrent sites are literally starting to crawl with the release of The Pale Emperor – Deluxe Edition.
I found it on a popular torrent site, however I think some of the tracks are acoustic versions of the same songs.
i wasnt really expecting to but i love this album….manson has obvsly slowed down tempo’s but this is a great example of doing it right
Poor album again, Manson lost it years ago.
A matter of opinion, i suppose. Ive been playing this album nonstop for weeks. Something that I haven’t done for a manson album since HolyWood. It’s different for sure, very Blues-y, but it works. Production is great, too.
Actually I think The Pale Emperor is by far Manson’s strongest album since Holy Wood, although not for the same reasons: thanks to Tyler Bates, Brian Warner managed to totally reinvent his Marilyn Manson character by pushing forward the boundaries of his musical identity, and that’s great. This bluesy goth rock is both original and appealing to me. Great album, hats off to the Emperor Manson.
beautiful album
From the pits of depravity, Manson rises from the ashes of his former image to create a new persona of sorts for himself, reclaiming for the first time since the ambitious release of the anti-Christ “Holy Wood” record his status among memorable rock stars. Through bluesy songs and worn-out, wary, howling vocals, Manson attempts to revive and recreate sounds from his long-gone heyday. Although some tracks from The Pale Emperor hold some weight on their own (notably the singles “Third Day of a Seven Day Binge,” “Deep Six,” and “The Mephistopheles of Los Angeles”), the majority of this record falls flat of substance and enjoyability. It feels as though the once thrilling, fun and rebellious side of Manson has been completely gobbled by a tamer, more mature side of Manson, abandoning the very values that created the platform of fame he enjoys today, diminished though it may have gotten from 2007’s sloppy “Eat Me, Drink Me” record to present day.
