After issuing a pair of 7-inches in 2013, scrappy Vancouver pop-punks Needles//Pins have announced they're about to get back in the full-length game. The group's sophomore effort is called Shamebirds, and it comes out this summer via new label home Dirtcult Records.

Shamebirds comes two years after the trio issued their debut album, 12:34, and like that platter, it was recorded out in Gabriola Island, BC with producer Jordan Koop (Peace, the Courtneys) at his Noisefloor Studios. There's some familiar material on the platter, with a different version of "Polaroid" recorded with Felix Fung (Chains of Love, Mode Moderne) having previously appeared on a 7-inch for Vancouver imprint Kingfisher Bluez.

Down below, you'll find the first preview from the platter, a buzzy heart-on-its-sleeve beer blaster called "You Only Call Me When You're Drunk."
