The Wombats Glitterbug

The Wombats is an English rock band formed in 2003 by Matthew Murphy, Tord Øverland Knudsen and Dan Haggis. Coming from different cultures, reuniting in a strange land, and choosing an awkward marsupial as their mascot and name, The Wombats' sound is just as unusual. It can be labeled as just indie rock, no complaints there. But as we all know, there is so much more to music than just labels, and here's hoping that it continues that way.

Glitterbug is the third album to be released by The Wombats, and its first single was released back in 2013, called Your Body Is A Weapon.

The second song from The Wombats new album "Glitterbug" will be premiered on BBC Radio 1 on the 14th of January at 7:30, the song is called "Greek Tragedy"
