Long Beach trio Tijuana Panthers have announced their third album, Wayne Interest. Since 2010 their debut, Max Baker, the Panthers have steadily become SoCal cult legends playing both packed backyard parties and sold out concert halls along the way. For their forthcoming album, Tijuana Panthers collaborated with producer Richard Swift (The Shins, Foxygen). Tijuana Panthers have packed everything you’d ever want from a garage-pop band into its three-minute cruiser Cherry Street. Killer new wave guitar riffs jangle and surf atop distorted drums and a rollicking bassline to create a mix like a surf punk’s nostalgia-filled endless summer. This is the band’s first single from their forthcoming album, Wayne Interest, It’s due out on June 3 via Innovative Leisure, but you can check out the new single, video album teaser and tracklist below.
