Australian band 5 Seconds of Summer has its second album, Sounds Good Feels Good, ready. The follow-up to last year's self-titled debut album, which topped the Billboard albums chart and sold more than 3 million copies worldwide, will come out Oct. 23.
For the second album, the group continued to collaborate with veteran producer John Feldmann, who also has worked with All Time Low and Good Charlotte.
The album's first single, She's Kinda Hot is No. 18 on USA TODAY's Top 40 airplay chart and has sold 202,000 copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
The group will perform on Sunday's Teen Choice Awards (Fox, 8 p.m. ET) and on ABC's Good Morning America Aug. 21. Its Rock Out With Your Socks Out tour continues Aug. 19 in Auburn Hills, Mich.
I kinda prefer the first album.
