Antropofago score a rare hat trick on this new album. They’ve created a big shot of aural adrenaline, delivering the kind of vicious, jolting power that most death metal fans crave, but with the kind of intricate, inventive instrumental flair that will stimulate your higher faculties as well as the reptile part of your brain. And in addition to those achievements, they’ve made songs that are also heavy-grooved and very infectious.
The album, featuring guest appearances by past and current members of Gorod, Savage Annihilation, Nephren-Ka and Insain, is set for an August 14th worldwide release date as a 500 copies limited edition first press as a deluxe double DigiSleeve CD featuring an expanded version of their 2012 EP “Between Fear and Madness” as bonus CD (for a total of six bonus tracks) and digital with preorders starting July 15th at the Kaotoxin Shop with a new line of merchandising. Further editions of both the album and EP will be released separately once the initial double CD will be soldout.
