After Charli XCX's delicious piece of pop "SUCKER" was released, she left fans wondering after they played the thirteenth (and last) track on the album: What is next? Charli (born Charlotte Aitchison) spilled to Rolling Stone about her next release, saying, "It's super hyper real, like Care Bears, J-Pop inspired, but also more urban than anything I've done before." In order to tide fans over, she is now picking out singles to promote "SUCKER" and performing on TV (David Letterman, AMAs, VMAs, Dick Clark's Rockin' New Year's Eve). Her next single is "Doing It", but with a very special guest: "I Will Never Let You Down" singer Rita Ora. XCX's new version of "Doing It" with Rita Ora is out on SoundCloud now, and will be released (along with the music video) in early February 2015. I am curious to see how the two sound together, as I don't know where Rita's vocals will come in. See you later, I gotta give this a play!
