“Emergency” is the upcoming three-piece extended play by Swedish duo Icona Pop. It’s scheduled to be released on digital retailers on July 17th via Atlantic, Big Beat and Record Company TEN.
It comes preceded by the lead single and EP’s title track “Emergency“, released in May. The second promotional track “First Time” was premiered on July 16th.
The track was the first song the duo wrote together when they formed in 2012. Now, they finally recorded it. About the track, Aino Jawo said:
The song has a whole new meaning to it now, looking back and reflecting on how far we’ve come since those early days when we were broke and didn’t have a clue what we were doing or where we were going!
