The London-based musician influenced heavily by modern pop and electronic music as well as her father's Iranian musical background is back with her third EP “Malika”, which will be released October 21st through Columbia Records. This new release consists of collaborations with various singers and fellow producers from all over the world.
Obviously this release will sound more eclectic then her prior releases, but undoubtedly will have that signature TĀLĀ sound. She has used cultural influences and travel sounds on her recordings before, but “Malika” will bring this to a whole new level. About her music and this EP she said: “exploring, discovering and experiencing new music and cultures is a really important aspect of my life and influenced my music from a very early stage.”
