How many people need to listen to a band before they aren’t “indie”? Tame Impala’s last album charted in 10 countries making it sell ARIA platinum. They also have 10 videos with over a million views on the first page when you search for them on youtube. Not to mention they also have major label promotion and distribution but I guess they are still an “indie” band.
