Now over 4 years later since his debut, Copywrite releases his 4th full length studio album and to-date his most personal work. Blood Bath & Beyond shows a side of Copy we hadn't seen in previous albums, with him opening up about substance abuse, god and the death of his beloved grandmother. This is a distinct departure from his, extraordinarily skilled but uni-faceted, visceral punchline raps of the past and shows him becoming much more of a three dimensional artist continuing in the future. While there are still plenty of punchline/battle raps to be had, Blood Bath & Beyond give you more of a sense of who the actual man Copywrite is, where he is heading, and what he hopes to be.
