Derwin Schlecker's ear for blending eclectic eastern samples with soothing dance floor grooves has earned him a name and much respect in the electronic music community over the last half decade. Following 2013's understated but excellent "Half of Where You Live" Schlecker is poised to release "Good Luck and Do Your Best" on Berlin's City Slang records (Caribou, Junior Boys) on May 27, 2016. Listen to the first cut from the record below, "Time Eater", along with a visuals provided by Israeli artist Ronni Shendar featuring footage of New York, Berlin, Cologne, Hong Kong, and Las Vegas.
According to Schlecker, this record was inspired by several recent trips to Japan and the album takes it's name from the parting words of a cab driver as Schlecker exited the car: "Good Luck and Do Your Best."

The previous album, Half Of Where You Live, was sort of disappointing. The new single is way more promising – Hoping for a return to form.
