Without a release since the last studio album, "New York," in 2009, the path taken by New York multicultural band Brazilian Girls' members Sabina Sciubba, Jesse Murphy, Didi Gutman and Aaron Johnstonhave been varied from giving birth to releasing a solo album and/or playing with their other bands. In 2015, during a performance in Chicago, Sabina and Didi repeatedly announced that the band's new album has just been completed and would be issued later in the year. In 2016, we got to have the Pledge campain to suport the release, but no further information was given, such as the record's name or release date. Since then, they've been playing some gigs, developing the album and teasing the fans, especially with a single entitled "The Critic" (released in 2016) and a KCRW show featuring lots of new songs (7, including the single).
But only now, near the end of 2017, they've announced the title and release date of the new album. So, we can only wait till April.
This is quite good actually.
