Godspeed You! Black Emperor is a post-rock band from Montreal who have been active for the better part of the past two decades. Their new release, Luciferian Towers, is their first since 2015's "'Asunder, Sweet' and Other Distress", and will likely include the two new tracks that they've been playing live since that album's release. Though their music is almost universally instrumental, this is a politically charged album, if their promotional material is anything to go by.
