Whose dumb fucking idea was it to set this as the followup to Language of My World? That album was introspective and jazzy, and literally every single so far has been godawful radio rap, devoid of any substance and stuffed full of gimmicky features. I mean, I get where Macklemore is at right now, and that’s cool, but I figured him going back to his lonesome signified that he was looking to make content with more than 2 dimensions again. I’d be disappointed, but I’ve been there since his last Ryan Lewis collab. Oof.
