Rødhåd's debut album, titled Anxious, is coming out on October 20th.
The LP will see release on Dystopian, the Berlin-based label that Rødhåd has been co-running since 2012. (The first release on the label was Rødhåd's 1984 EP.) Anxious is described in a press release as the "natural next step" to his recent EPs, Kinder Der Ringwelt and Söhne Der Erde, with an increasing focus on non-dance floor sounds. One track, "Target Line," was made in collaboration with Vril.
Rødhåd first drew attention with his marathon DJ sets at clubs in Berlin. Pushing a deep and hypnotic style, he soon moved on to larger stages, joining the festival circuit and becoming one of techno's most popular DJs.
