Alice In Chains will release its new album titled; "Rainier Fog" on August 24. The much-anticipated follow-up to 2013's critically acclaimed album "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here" was recorded was recorded in Los Angeles, Nashville, and for the first time in more than 20 years, the band's hometown of Seattle. Mixed by Joe Barresi (Tool, Queens of the stone age), "Rainier Fog" is the group's third straight album recorded with Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Deftones), who produced 2009's "Black Gives Way To Blue" and 2013's "The Devil Put Dinosaurs Here".

Don’t get your hopes up too soon. These albums don’t leak as early as they used too. Three days before release date wouldn’t surprise me.
Is it just due to them postponing the review copies?
Probably. There has only been one review of this album. They are keeping this thing under lock and key. Since there really aren’t a lot of CD retailers now, there’s not much of a reason for copies to be released early.

Yep, in about 2 more days. Plus, AIC is giving out copies of the physical CD at the Mariners game on August 20th so it’s going to leak by then.

Goodness it’s been forever since I’ve came around to this site on a regular basis! This album called me forth back to the site to wait for that very second it leaks. REALLY looking forward to it, and the samples in chedden’s link are VERY promising.
