The Kendrick Lamar-curated soundtrack to the upcoming installment of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, "Black Panther".
While this is not the first Marvel movie to receive a soundtrack (previous films like "The Avengers" got them), it hasn't been the norm of the franchise since Iron Man 3 (for original songs).
The first single, "All The Stars", performed by Kendrick Lamar and SZA, has already been released. The album boasts an explicit tag and contains 14 tracks, all presumed to be original songs.
It is unknown if the current cover art is final or just a placeholder.
Since there’s another Black Panther soundtrack coming, with the original soundtrack music, I’m going to rename this entry to Kendrick Lamar’s Black Panther. Hopefully makes things less confusing.
I don’t think renaming this as Kendrick’s album is very accurate since we don’t know what the final tracklist is. This is akin to Lorde and Mockingjay Part 1, which isn’t a Lorde album, merely curated by her. The other album is just the score.
Agree, it’s not really correct. But to make it simpler for visitors and Google searchers, we might as well as do Lamar. “Various artist” is always a bit of a hassle.
This is hella confusing now.. why not delete one entry? That’s the frist and only logical thing that came to me and makes perfect sense right away.
There are in fact two soundtracks for this movie, the curated list and the original music.
Looks cool enough to me!

Comment good one
This album is almost out and still no tracklist and I don’t know if that artwork is final or not. Strange secrecy.
