Legendary soul singer Candi Staton will release her 30th studio album in August. The record, called Unstoppable, The album, called Unstoppable, will feature a mix of original material and covers with her trademark blend of funk, disco, dance-based r&b and classic southern soul. Staton’s takes on Patti Smith’s "People Have the Power" and Nick Lowe’s “(What’s So Funny ‘Bout) Peace, Love, and Understanding.” will be included. The release is promoted by two singles, "Confidence" and "I Fooled You Didn't I"
