Fiends is a prog metal band from Saratoga, FL. Their debut album, 'Me Time' will be released later this year. They just premiered the first single, 'Keep me in the Dark'. According to MetalSucks, their sound is a blend of Tool and Lamb of God, with some djenty elements. I don't know about Tool, but the harsh vocals definitely sound Randy Blythe-y. From what I've heard, this is shaping up to be a pretty great prog metal debut album.
This is really satisfying to my ears. Sounds neither something new, neither something totally inexperiented. It’s really some kind of big surprise for my self. I totally feel this new vibe of sound and I’m gonna go with a 10 ou 10 on this new album. WoW, it smash hard on my expectation! Really good band!
