Iceage are a Danish post-punk band known for blistering live shows across the world. Started in 2008 when most of the band members were only 17. Releasing their debut album "New Brigade" in 2011 to moderate acclaim - including a Best New Music accolade from Pitchfork, the band moved to Matador Records in 2013 for the release of You're Nothing, and then in 2014 followed it up with what could be considered their best album "Plowing Through the Field of Love."

Part of a collective of post-punk artists in the 21st century that focus more on instrumentation, and what some may consider difficult to appreciate lyrics, the closest comparisons would be King Krule, Nick Cave, and These New Puritans. They return in 2018 with "Beyondless" following a few years of lead singer Elias Bender Rønnenfelt fronting Marching Church, a similar band in style but not aesthetic..
