Many DJs are on the comeup, but few have received such fame and notoriety as Peggy Gou such a short amount of time. 'Once' is the followup to the internationally acclaimed DJ/producer, one who is due for an original work since her 2016 'Seek For Maktoop'. Countless Euorpean and Asian DJ sets and mixes have occurred since her debut, including a headline Boiler Room spot at Dekmantel and a Resident Advsior Podcast. If she wasn't solidified as a future great already, Mixmag features her Artist Profile in December 2017 as well as on the cover of their February 2018 issue preceding her March EP release. Peggy Gou teases 'Once' with the single "It Makes You Forget (Itgehane)" which blurs genres in an eclectic spin of house and boundary defying rhythms. She sings in Korean, a first for her music, as she embraces her cultural roots but empowers her listeners to dance and embrace their own. The other two tracks are reported to gather influence from "African rhythms, early 90s house, and also techno." 'Once' drops March 2nd, 2018 via Ninja Tune.
