Dua Lipa Future Nostalgia

Shortly after the release of a promotional single off of her sophomore album, Dua Lipa announced the title and revealed the cover and release date of "Future Nostalgia", due April 3th via Warner Records. The promo single "Future Nostalgia" follows the comeback that was "Don't Start Now", showing a more vintage disco aesthetic, with 80s synthetizers and even a 90s-ish rap sprinkled with the girlpower touch. "I wrote this one with Jeff Bhasker and Coffee one afternoon in L.A. It’s all playful and fun and not taking ourselves too seriously but we loved it so much we wanted to share it", she said.

The second proper single, "Physical", will be out January 31st.

...to break out of my comfort zone and challenge myself to make music that felt like it could sit alongside some of my favourite classic pop songs, whilst still feeling fresh and uniquely mine. My sound has naturally matured a bit as I’ve grown up but I wanted to keep the same pop sensibility as I had on the first record. [...] I realised that what I wanted to make was something that felt nostalgic but had something fresh and futuristic about it too."
