Fresh of the heels of the well received Mark Lanegan Band album "Somebody's Knocking", the Godfather of Grunge will be releasing his first album released entirely under his own name since 2001. Released on Heavenly Records, the album release will coincide with the release of "Sing Backwards and Weep", an autobiography and memoir of the singers "Dark Period", during which he dealt with addiction and the death of his friends and fellow Seattle grunge scene alumni. The guest list is stunning: John Paul Jones, Greg Dulli, Adrian Utley and close personal friend, Dyland Carlson.
