As announced on BBC Radio 1's Future Sounds with Annie Mac, Royal Blood's upcoming third studio album is scheduled for a Spring 2021 release via Warner Bros. Records. It will serve as the follow-up to How Did We Get So Dark?, their sophomore effort from 2017. The album's recording began in March 2020, but was ultimately delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
