Heartwork is the upcoming eighth studio album by American rock band the Used. It is scheduled to be released on April 24, 2020. In the summer of 2019 The Used signed to their long time friend and producer John Feldmann's record label Big Noise. They started recording the album in June 2019, took a break to headline the Disrupt Festival tour, and finished recording the album in November 2019. The band recorded 27 songs during the Heartwork session and plan on releasing another album later this year of the remaining songs. Music videos for the singles "Blow Me" was released in December, "Paradise Lost, a poem by John Milton" in February, and "Cathadral Bell" in April. The week before the album released the band has released videos of fan made tarot cards for non-singles "Obvious Blasé", "Gravity's Rainbow".[non-primary source needed][12][non-primary source needed] This is the first album to feature Joey Bradford on guitar after Justin Shekoski left in 2018.
