Andy Shauf has returned with plans for a new album and an accompanying 2023 tour. Norm is out via Arts & Crafts on February 10, and the singer-songwriter will take it on the road in January.
Without an avenue to tour his 2020 album, The Neon Skyline, Shauf got back to work on new music, self-producing and playing every instrument heard on Norm. "The character of Norm is introduced in a really nice way," Shauf said of the record in a statement. "But the closer you pay attention to the record, the more you're going to realize that it's sinister."
The North American trek begins with a pair of East Coast dates in Fredericton and Halifax, on January 20 and 21, respectively. From there, Shauf will head south of the border for a run of the States, later landing in Victoria on March 10. Shows in Vancouver, Kelowna, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon and Winnipeg immediately follow, with more Canadian dates in Ontario and Quebec picking back up in April and May. Tickets go on sale this Friday (November 18).
