Southern California deathcore act Carnifex make their Sumerian Records debut with More Than Misery. Vocalist Scott Ian Lewis says this is the first record he has written after coming through the experiences he sings about, and the title carries that double meaning: life is bigger than the misery it holds. It was tracked in Tennessee with Whitechapel's Zach Householder and mixed by Jeff Dunne, and Chaney Crabb guests on "The Process Of Pain". The title track and "Roses & Rotting Corpses" are out now. More Than Misery arrives November 6th.
