Lately, Teri Gender Bender has been busy with Kimono Kult, the project featuring her Bosnian Rainbows collaborator Omar Rodríguez-López and John Frusciante But now, she’s returned as the fiery frontwoman of Mexican garage rock band Le Butcherettes, abruptly announcing that the band’s forthcoming album will be out as soon as tomorrow.
Following up 2011?s Sin Sin Sin comes Cry is for the Flies, an LP that promises to be “less in-your-face,” and “more inward-looking.” To be released via Rodriguez-Lopez’s label/production company Nadie Sound Inc. A vinyl release is tentatively planned for June.
