As a result, the first EP, Ultraviolet, which releases June 27, evokes that spirit fans know and love, while treading new territory. Starting with the single "Beautiful Times", a collaboration with celebrated violinist Lindsey Stirling, buzzing production gives way to an instantly irresistible refrain as Young's voice takes flight.
I was about to add this EP too. Glad someone did the work for me. Hopefully we reach 100% at the Owl City website so we can get the cover art. REALLY excited about this one.
The Shooting Star EP was amazing when it came out (built a hype that The Midsummer Station didn’t live up to imo). Let’s see about this one.
How do we get 100%
I must say, I’ve fallen out of touch with Owl City for a few years after his music began to feel “cookie cutter”. This song is a refreshing showcase of his original sound while demonstrating his maturity as an artist. The melody is simple and the string/synth work is refined. I may actually be excited for this EP.
