For so many new bands, their debut release not only breaks the band, but it establishes the direction from which the band will follow for years to come. For a rare few artists, that debut serves only to start the creative journey which will take them to some terrific places. For The Relapse Symphony, their debut TIME'S RUNNING OUT built them an initial following, but it didn’t scratch the surface of the creative genius that was yet to come. For The Relapse Symphony, they are determined to leave their debut in the SHADOWS of a bright and successful future.
“Our previous release was our debut EP, and we were still figuring out our sound and honing our craft as songwriters,” says guitarist JC Charles when looking forward to what SHADOWS will mean for the growth of The Relapse Symphony as a band. “On this full length we were really able to take our time and create a sound that is a combination of everything we love about our favorite bands, while doing it in a unique way that made for something we feel is very original”.
